God’s Word describes two different kinds of seeking.
First, we are encouraged to seek God.
And we are promised that our search will bear fruit –
God will allow Himself to be found!
Second, we are told that God is a seeking God.
He is looking for us with the goal of salvation in mind.
Praise God that He searches after those who are lost!
And praise God that He allows Himself to be found!

Guitar Players Needed Today
We are looking for guitar players to play “Silent Night” on Christmas
Eve. The first of two practices will be today and the second will be on
Sunday, December 21, right after church. If you’re interested, call
Barry Wentz or Ron Chatfield .

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Studies
Our Tuesday afternoon Bible studies will conclude this week,
December 16, and will resume again on January 6, 2015.

Wednesday Evening Activities
Our Wednesday evening activities for this fall have concluded
and will resume again on January 7, 2015.

Pastoral Care Opportunity
If you have a need for pastoral care, please call Chuck Sherwin
or Kevin Englund (657-5573). We hope that you will reach out if
there is a need so that our church family can provide care and
support.

Care & Outreach Contact
Judy Kinsel is now the contact person for the Care & Outreach
Team. If you know of a family or individual in a time of need for
meals, cards, illness or loss, please call Judy at 255-6135.

Cookies Needed
The Alpena Gideons will be providing Christmas gift boxes for
inmates at the local county jails! They need your help and if you
would like to provide cookies (no frosting or decorations please),
please have them at Huron Shores Fellowship by next Sunday,
December 21. Place them in the kitchen and mark them “Gideons/Jail.” Thank you!

Winter Retreat Sign Up
It’s time for winter retreats and we’re so excited for what God will do!
Sign up is now open for both Junior and Senior High retreats. Junior High
will be February 20-22 (money due January 18). Senior High will be
Feb 27-March 1 (money due January 25). Check out our website for more info!
