Service of Worship
January 18, 2015

Here is spiritual maturity: when the Apostle Paul had every reason to be tired and bitter, he responded to life with joy. This is the fruit of a life lived in close relationship with God, the fruit of a life formed in Christ.”
Richard Foster

The way that we respond to life reveals both the condition of our heart
and our relationship with God. The Apostle Paul is a good example for us.
Even in hardship, Paul chose a life of joy. As God empowers us, we can
make that same choice.

In worship today, we invite God to come close – and to have His way
with us. We invite God to give us the strength to choose joy.

Welcome to Huron Shores Fellowship!
We are glad that you are here.

Ministry Opportunity with Sunday Supper Our ministry of serving Sunday Supper at Trinity Episcopal Church the first Sunday every fourth month is in need of your help. We need people who willing to make a dessert for the Sunday Supper. By being on the list, you aren’t committing to making one every time we serve – we will be rotating. We are also still in need of people to cook the meal for July 5 and November 1. If you are interested in either one of these
ministry opportunities, please contact Amy (657-9006) or Stephanie McNeil (657-6984). Thank you!

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Studies
Our Tuesday afternoon Bible studies will continue this week. Please join us at 4:30 for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. There is a group for men and a group for women. Everyone is welcome!

Have You Noticed the New Bulletins?
Pat Manning is sharing her gift of artistry by designing a number of new bulletin covers which will be cycled throughout the year. She has thoughtfully combined drawings and scripture references encouraging us in our relationship with God. Please take a moment to thank Pat for generously sharing her time and talents for the benefit of our church!

Pastoral Care Opportunity
If you have a need for pastoral care, please call Chuck Sherwin (464-2110) or Kevin Englund (657-5573). We hope that you will reach out if there is a need so that our church family can provide care and support.

Heartfelt Thanks
Thank you for the cards, kind words, and the flowers sent during the loss of my mom, Betty Engberg. It feels so good to have the support of our “church family.” She was a blessing to many people and we were fortunate to have had her for 92 years. She is with the Lord now and having faith in that will carry us through! Many blessings to all of you.
Vicky & Mark Szczepanik & family
