From Our College Students
Thanks you so much for your gift. It was such a surprise and we were so honored and blessed to receive it. This church has changed our lives in dramatic ways and that you care, are thinking and praying for us, means the world. Thank you for the card and blessing us tremendously.

Christian Sympathy
We extend Christian sympathy to Edith Miller on the passing of her son, David. Please pray for Edith and family in this time of loss.
Winter Coat Ministry We need your help in 2 separate ways an you believe Christmas was 4 months ago, Easter has come and gone and we are right on the heels of Memorial Day and the official start of garage sale season.
First, items are coming in SLOWLY, but steadily, for our clothes giveaway in October. However, our team has been known to be somewhat greedy and we need more donations. We offer the perfect opportunity to rid your closets of those unwanted items you no longer wear. Also, garage sales afford the perfect opportunity to find gently used warm winter outerwear at reasonable prices. Even if you don’t regularly shop garage sales, please consider stopping to check them out if you happen to notice a sign. Items needed include Coats, warm hoodies, hats, gloves, boots and snowpants. We can certainly use child and adult sizes, but children’s sizes are the most needed at this time.
On another note, the winter coat ministry has been near and dear to all our hearts but most especially to the team who coordinates it each year. However, circumstances in our lives sometimes lead to changes. Due to those changes, our team finds itself in need of some additional volunteers to fill voids left by resigning members. Most urgently needed, and in order to continue our work after our next giveaway in October, we will have to find someone to assume responsibility of team leader. One or two additional volunteers are also needed to once again round out the team. Anyone who might be interested in filling an open spot on the team, or getting more information about what is involved, is asked to contact Carol Lewis, Dorothy Peterson or
Sharon Reed.
Thank you,
