We ask any member of Huron Shores Fellowship interested in serving in this capacity to please submit a letter of interest to Chuck Sherwin, Chair of the Servants Team. Letters can be dropped off at the church office, or, preferably e-mailed to Chuck at csherwin@agh.org . Deadline for submission is TODAY, Sunday, June 21st.

We need someone to head-up the Wednesday Night Fellowship gatherings for the summer. It would include scheduling the homes/sites for the fellowships and seeing that paper goods and drinks got to the site. Please sign up on the sheet at the information table in the Foyer or call the church office 358-0047.

We are still in need of some VBS workers. If you are interested, please contact Sandy Ross (340-0012). 2015 Vacation Bible School is coming to Huron Shores Fellowship!!!! Dates are Monday – Friday, August 17 – 21.
A great week is being planned, so mark your calendar to volunteer and to bring your children and their friends.

Finding Hope Community Prayer Gathering, Sunday, June 28, 2015 @ 6:30 PM Word of Life Church, 1900 N. Bagley St.,

During the month of July, the Tuesday Bible Study groups will be taking a break for a few weeks. The final gathering for both the men and women will be on Tuesday, June 30th.

Dear Church Family,
Thank you so much for the prayers, calls, cards, flowers and Gideon Bibles in memory of our brother, Willard Klein.
God Bless each one of you, Jack & Jeanne Klein

We need someone to make coffee each Sunday morning. Bill Ross has been so faithful in this mission each Sunday morning, but is in need of some time off. Could you help him get a much needed breather? Please call Bill at 340-0013 – he would appreciate hearing from you.

We need your prayers as we prepare!

*We are collecting cans/bottles at the Sunday School entrance through July 5th.
*Stop and check out our building donation station as we work together to reach our goal for building materials.

…for our mission team as they prepare for times of service this summer.
July 12th a team will be traveling to serve in Middleton, Ohio. Team members include: Stephanie McNeil Maggie Sytek Emily Kozlowski Maren Winter Kaitlyn Schultz

See back side!

It feels like summer is finally here and it doesn’t seem right to be thinking about winter clothes. However, that’s exactly what we need to do. Our 4th winter outerwear giveaway will be here before you know it. October is only a few short months away and we all know how quickly those months will fly by. Check out those garage sales for gently used coats, hats, gloves, boots and snow pants of all sizes. Donations are really down so far this year.
Looking to the future, this might be the last year for this ministry at Huron Shores. When our team first answered the call to sponsor this giveaway, we understood and agreed that this was going to be a long term commitment. It has been a blessing to all of us who have worked on the team.

Unfortunately, circumstances have changed the makeup of our team and if this ministry is going to continue after this October, it will be necessary for some new people to join the team, specifically someone to coordinate the effort. Your overwhelming support of this project goes a long way toward saying how much the ministry means to this church. The groundwork has been laid for this ministry to continue. If you want Huron Shores to continue helping those in need and feel called to serve God in this capacity, please contact Dorothy Peterson, Carol Lewis or Sharon Reed. We would be happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have about assuming this responsibility and help you decide if this is where God is leading you. We need to know soon if we will have a team for next year. If no one comes forward to lead this team, then the coat ministry will disband come October. Please give this some thought, search your heart and pray that God will lead you where He wants you to be. Thank you.
