SIGN UP TODAY YUMMY! DUTCH CHERRY OR BLUEBERRY PIES
Jacob Lewis and Chase Sherwin are taking orders for pies after church today. Cost, $8. Pies will be available for pick up Saturday, 19th (12 – 1:00} or next Sunday March 20 after church. The money that will be made from this fundraiser will go directly to offset the cost for materials that they will be using to fix and rebuild homes for those that need our help.
The Youth Mission Trip this summer will be to Buffalo, N.Y. We ask that you, please be praying for our youth and the families they will be serving. If you have questions, please call Shannon Sherwin 590-2208.

ATTENTION
This announcement is for parents, grandparents and friends of children ages 3 – 8. We’re inviting you to bring your little ones to the Huron Shores Fellowship gym for a really neat time of fun, games, Bible stories and snacks. These “gym nights” are Friday evenings from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. on the following dates: March 18 and April 8 and 22
Please come and bring the children and their friends. Permission slips will be available when you arrive at the church. (P.S. Parents are free to stay or free to leave to enjoy an hour and fifteen minutes of relaxation!)

March 24th – Maundy Thursday Service at 6:30 pm w/Communion (need 4 more people to help read scripture – see Evelyn Avery)

March 25th — Good Friday Service, Hosted by: Alpena Free Methodist, AAMA Community Worship, @ 7pm

March 27 – Easter Sunday – He is Risen!!! No Sunday School today – Breakfast Brunch at 9:15 am and Worship following. (If you can contribute to the brunch, please see sign-up sheet in Narthex).

UPDATE: 4 ONE QUARTET, New Date and Time! Saturday, May 7th, 2016, 6pm @ HSFC, the Community is welcome!

BLESSING BACKPACKS (New Care & Outreach Project)
We are going to be filling backpacks with things the homeless can use. A lot of these items can be picked up at the dollar store. A few ideas are: gloves, thermal socks, hats, beef sticks, candy bars, crackers, toothpaste, toothbrush, wipes, deodorant, snacks, wash cloth, small towel, etc. Use your imagination. These items can be put in the tub in the hallway.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITY
Be sure to mark April 9 on your calendar if you plan to attend the Thrivent Financial’s presentation on “Identity Theft” at Huron Shores Fellowship. This seminar will be from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. and will include a complimentary luncheon. There is no charge for this opportunity, and there will be no “sales pitch.” We will need to have your confirmation by March 30. Please call Judy at 358-0047 or Carol Lewis at 379-4691 to let them know if you’re able to attend. There is also a sign up sheet in the foyer. “PRAYER CHAIN”
There are times when we have all needed immediate prayer for our family, loved ones and friends. Huron Shores Fellowship now has a PRAYER CHAIN to help in those circumstances. If you would like to request prayer, please contact Cheryl Herman at 989-884-0388 and .. if she can’t be reached call Becky Sommerfield at 517-481-6720. She will pass it on to the prayer chain.

BOTTLES AND CANS
The Buffalo, New York Mission Team is collecting empty cans/bottles in order to raise money for the trip. Bring your cans/bottles at the Sunday School entrance. If you would like us to come to your house and pick up your empties, please call Shannon Sherwin 590-2206
