We are adopting Sunrise Centre Inc. It is a non-profit substance Abuse Rehabilitation Facility that serves people with addictions that are on Medicaid, under or uninsured from Alpena and surrounding counties. They are always in need of bedding and bathroom supplies, male and female hygiene products, socks and underwear for men and women. There will be a list by the tub in the Narthex next week.

We recognize the need for prayer for the children, families and staff who are even now finding out about our VBS. Would you be willing to ‘adopt’ one child/worker and commit to pray throughout these next weeks?
How to pray: for open hearts to learn more about God’s saving grace, for eyes to see and ears to hear God’s Word, and that Christ would be shown in all we do and say. We trust the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of those He is bringing to Huron Shores VBS this August.

Dear Huron Shores,
Thank you so much for becoming one of my ministry partners by contribution. It is a privilege to be teamed up with people like you. Together, we seek to help reach people for Christ in East Asia!
I believe your investments of prayer and financial support will result in many coming to Christ. Beyond that, I trust God will honor His Word and truly bless you as you give.
Yours in Christ, Clare Chen
