V.B.S. REPORT
Vacation Bible School 2016 is past but the lessons the children learned will be part of their experience forever.
They learned about God’s power to see Him at work and
to share Him with others. Thank you, Church family and friends, for praying for us and for your support shown in
a myriad of ways. God’s favor shone here at Huron Shores.
Mark Your Calendar…
Sunday, Sept. 18 -Annual Church Business Meeting
Sunday, October 2 – Church Re-dedication Service
THANK YOU
Thanks to friends at Huron Shores for all your prayers, cards, calls and well wishes during my heart surgery, and the recent passing of my brother in California. Martha and I are thankful we could make the trip to San Diego to attend my brother’s memorial service. It enabled us to meet and visit with relatives and friends we had never met before. All in all things went so well in both situations, and we are so thankful.
– Freeman and Martha Hayes
OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONAL
The devotional Our Daily Bread is available on the table in the narthex for September, October and November. Please leave a donation for this ministry. Thank You.

They are always in need of bedding and bathroom supplies, male and female hygiene products, socks and underwear for men and women. There will be a list by the tub in the Narthex.
WEDNESDAY EVENING GATHERINGS
We have concluded our Wednesday evening gatherings for the summer – and we want to express our appreciation to all of our host families! Thank you for your hospitality and care throughout the summer – and thank you for opening your hearts and your homes to our church family. We will resume our regular Wednesday activities on September 14
