Operation Christmas Child
Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry.
Care and Outreach Team has adopted this as their project for October. The boxes need to be at the church on Sunday November 7th. – Useful and fun gifts for children in need in the United States and around the world. Everyone loves to receive gifts, children most of all. You can pack a box yourself, or make it a family project or get together with your friends to provide a shoe box gift.
There will be info in the Narthex, look for the shoe box. Instead
of a cardboard box, you can use a plastic container the size of a shoe box with a lid so whoever gets the box will also have something that lasts to keep stuff in. Each box requires $7 to ship. If you would like to provide shipping, leave your check made out to “Operation Christmas Child” in any amount at the church office or with Becky Sommerfield.

NEED PRAYER?
There are ladies available to pray for your concerns. If you have a prayer request, please call Cheryl Herman (989-595-2315) or Becky Sommerfield (517-481-6720) and they will pass it on to the prayer chain.

COLLEGE STUDENTS
If you are or have a student going away to college, please notify the church office of your college address. We would also like the names of those attending A.C.C. – Church office 358-0047.

OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONAL
The devotional Our Daily Bread is available on the table in the narthex for September, October and November. Please leave a donation for this ministry. Thank You.

POWER POINTS – if you could help out with this ministry, please call Evelyn at 464-9769
