Operation Christmas Child
Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry.
Care and Outreach Team has adopted this as their project for October. The boxes need to be at the church on Sunday November 7th. – Useful and fun gifts for children in need in the United States and around the world. Everyone loves to receive gifts, children most of all. You can pack a box yourself, or make it a family project or get together with your friends to provide a shoe box gift. There is info in the Narthex, (including a suggestion list to help you make great selections). Look for the shoe box. Instead of a cardboard box, you can use a plastic container the size of a shoe box with a lid so whoever gets the box will also have something that lasts to keep stuff in. Each box requires $7 to ship. If you would like to provide shipping, leave your check made out to “Operation Christmas Child” in any amount at the church office or with Becky Sommerfield.
PRAYER TEAM AVAILABLE
There are ladies available to pray for your concerns. If you have a prayer request, please call Cheryl Herman (989-595-2315) or Becky Sommerfield (517-481-6720) and they will pass it on to the prayer chain.
THANK YOU
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I am slowly starting to recover. Hope to be back soon and thanks for the beautiful plant. You are all so nice. – Mike Keller
CD’s NOW AVAILABLE
CD’s of the morning Service/Message are available. Place your order by signing the clipboard at the sound booth or call the church office. Pick up your finished CD at the Sound Booth.
