The Lord’s Day
December 4, 2016
The Second Sunday of Advent
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch,
a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.
In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety.
This is the name by which he will be called:
The Lord Our Righteousness.”
These are days to celebrate the promises of God.
Long ago, the prophets spoke of a coming day –
a day when God would send a Savior, a Comforter, a King.
With the birth of Jesus, God kept this most important promise –
and that is what we celebrate today!
Welcome to Huron Shores Fellowship!
We are glad that you are here.

THE APOSTLE’S CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

They are in need of 0-3 months and 3-6 month warm clothing, long sleeve shirts, pants, pajama’s and etc., mostly boys. Also 3T and 4T sizes for both boys and girls. These can be used but in good shape. Money can also be donated so they can buy what they need. There will be a tub inside the gathering room. Any Questions, Becky 517-481-6720

ARE YOU READY TO BE BAPTIZED?
Baptism is a crucial step of obedience for a believer and a public confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. If you are ready to take this important step, there is a sign up in the Foyer – or if you have questions about baptism – please talk with Pastor Jack. We will be scheduling a time of baptism in the near future.
MUSICIANS, please see Worship & Arts Team if you are willing to use your talents for our Lord. Team members are: Evelyn Avery (Chair), Donna Williams, Becky Sommerfield, Martha Hayes, Cindy Lewis, Cindy Smigelski and of course you can mention it to Pastor Jack Williams.
There are ladies available to pray for your concerns. If you have a prayer request, please call Cheryl Herman (new number coming soon) or Becky Sommerfield (517-481-6720) and they will pass it on to the prayer chain.
CD’s of the morning Service/Message are available. Place your order by signing the clipboard at the sound booth or call the church office. Pick up your finished CD the following week at the Sound Booth.
