The Service of Worship
April 30, 2017

“This is love: not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent His Son
as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
I John 4:10

Every Sunday, the people of God gather to celebrate the love of God.
He demonstrated His immense love by sending Jesus, His only Son.
And we respond to that love through
worship, thanksgiving, and obedience.
Today, let us celebrate the love of God.

GRIEF SHARE – RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUPS
Groups will be starting a 13 week series on Tuesdays starting May 9, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. “Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering”
They will meet at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, in Ossineke.
If you would like more information, call Carol Wyers (989-590-3296) for more information. (Also see our bulletin board.)

CALLING ALL GRADUATES
The season for graduation is rapidly approaching. If you know of any High School graduates, please call the church office
