WEDNESDAY, June 28
6:00 p.m. Our Kick-Off Wednesday Family Nights will be hosted by Brandon and Sara MacArthur at their home.
They will provide hot dogs and hamburgers. Please bring a salad or dessert to pass. Beverages will be provided. Bring your own lawn chair and table setting. As always there will be wonderful food and fellowship. KIDS! we will have the Bounce House. There will be a short choir practice at Brandon and Sara’s after the evening activities.
Rain or shine, they have the facilities to accommodate us.

Directions: Take M-32 West from Alpena to M-65 at the Old Truck Stop. Turn right on M-65 and go a little more than 4 miles through the village of Long Rapids. One quarter mile north of Long Rapids, turn left onto Leer Road. Go about 50 yards and turn left onto MacArthur Road Follow MacArthur Road for about 2 miles and it will curve to the right. You are now on McNeil Road. The farm is the first place on the right. As always, there will be wonderful food and fellowship. We will have a short choir practice following the evening activities.

“Pickin’ for People”, Open Mike, Singers, Open mike for Musicians. All Welcome! Refreshments available by donation for “Feeding Kids Ministry and Children’s School Lunches.”

LADIES, “ONLINE” BIBLE STUDY
Evelyn Avery’s sister will be doing an online Ladies Bible Study for 12 Monday evenings during Aug. 7–Nov.13, time 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. If you are interested and would like further information, please see the bulletin board, copies in Foyer or Evelyn Avery.

MEMORIAL SERVICE
Dale Harrison, passed away March 4 at his residence. Dale and Pat had been married 61 years. A Memorial Service is being planned at Huron Shores Fellowship, Thursday, July 6. Visitation will be at 10:00 and Service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jack Williams officiating. Our Sympathy to his wife Pat and family.

Thank you so much for all of your thoughtful and generous gifts. Thank you even more for all of the support, encouragement, and prayers while I developed my relationship with God throughout the years. Please continue to pray for me as I transition from Alpena to Grand Valley and from High School to College.

Community Prayer Gathering
The Alpena Area Ministerial Association’s Community Prayer Gathering for this month will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at New Life Christian Fellowship, with Pastors Gary and Michelle Smith hosting. Please note that during the summer months these gatherings take place on Wednesdays instead of Sundays.

Our Vacation Bible School planned for
August 14-17th (M-Th).
This is an outreach into our entire community by our entire church body.We’re inviting kids (ages 3yrs. through 5th grade. )
* Helpers are needed (6th grade through 95 yrs.!) Please sign up in the lobby or contact Cheryl Kaye or Carol Lewis.

PROJECT FOR JUNE
The Care and Outreach Team project for June is: Sunrise Mission. The Mission needs many things:
Deodorant, razors, shaving cream, hand soap (liquid).
Queen & single sheets, pillows & pillow cases.
Towels and wash clothes,
Paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex and garbage bags. Laundry soap, fabric softener and dish soap. Feminine supplies, shampoo.
Diapers and wipes any size.
Coffee and creamer. Meat for the freezer, canned meat, beef, chicken, venison or fish (processed please).
Funds are always welcome for our general fund. Dial-a-ride money to assist our guest in getting to interviews and appointments.

OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONAL
The devotional Our Daily Bread is available on the table in the Narthex for June, July and August. Please leave a donation for this ministry. Thank You.
