Thrivent will be partnering with Kids Coalition Against Hunger to pack over 10,000 meals to be distributed to local food pantries in Alpena and surrounding areas
At: The Alpena Mall.
Time: 9:45 safety video; Packing 10 am-11:30 a.m.

WE NEED PRAYER PARTNERS
It’s that time of year again and our kids are back at school and our youth programs have begun. We are in need of Prayer Partners for each of these kids. If you would like to be a Prayer Partner for one of these kids, please see Vivian MacArthur .

ATTENTION! FAMILY SWIM DATE
The Christian Life & Grow Team has rented the
Plaza Pool for October 28th from 3-5 p.m.
for a family swim. Everyone invited to join us!

SHOE BOX MINISTRY
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

The Care and Outreach Team is once again doing the Samaritan Purse Shoe Box ministry. The info is on a table in the Narthex. Due date for the boxes is the first week of November.

OCTOBER has been set aside for Pastors Appreciation. We are so blessed to have Pastor Jack and Donna Williams to minister to this church and now we have Marlon Smith, our new Associate Pastor and his wife DeAnn. We want to be sure to remember them with prayer and gratitude.

REFRESHED AND RENEWED
A HUGE “Thank You” to all who put in countless hours of their valuable time to beautify this church building with a fresh, new coat of paint.

COLLEGE STUDENT ADDRESSES
The addresses for our college students are available in the Foyer. Please take a copy and sent them a note of encouragement. ALSO, if we have forgotten anyone, please notify the church office. (989-358-0047)
