The Service of Worship
November 26, 2017

Today is a new day, a gift from the Creator’s hand.
Today we offer praise and thanks to the One who made us.
Today we worship Jesus Christ, the One who has redeemed us.
Today we honor the Spirit who upholds and guides us.

Welcome to Huron Shores Fellowship!
We are glad that you are here.

Words of Welcome and Fellowship Greeting
(Everyone, please sign the Worship Registration Book.)

Opening Prayer

Great and Mighty (129)
Great and mighty is the Lord our God,
Great and mighty is He.
Great and mighty is the Lord our God,
Great and mighty is He.
Lift up your banner, let the anthems ring –
Praises to our King;
Great and mighty is the Lord our God,
Great and mighty is He.

Count Your Blessings (786, vs. 1,2,4)…by request
When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings – name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your blessings, see what God hath done.
Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings; every doubt will fly,
And you will be singing as the days go by.

So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged; God is over all.
Count your many blessings; angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

You Are My All in All (583)
You are my strength when I am weak,
You are the treasure that I seek; You are my all in all.
Seeking You as a precious jewel, Lord, to give up, I’d be a fool;
You are my all in all.

Jesus, Lamb of God, Worthy is your name!
Jesus, Lamb of God, Worthy is your name!

Taking my sin, my cross, my shame,
Rising again I bless your name; You are my all in all.
When I fall down, You pick me up;
When I am dry, You fill my cup;
You are my all in all.

There’s Something About That Name (83)
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
There’s just something about that name!
Master, Savior, Jesus! Like the fragrance after the rain.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
Let all heaven and earth proclaim:
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away,
But there’s something about that name!
