The Service of Worship
January 07, 2018
“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve …
But as for me and my household,
We will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
In this passage from Joshua, we are reminded of the choice
that we face in life – and the choice that we face today.
In response to God’s call – especially at the beginning of
a new year – let’s choose to follow Him.

If you would like to become a member of Huron Shores Fellowship – or if you would like to learn more about our church – Pastor Jack will be leading this next Sunday, January 14 during the Sunday School hour, but come for coffee and fellowship at 9:00 – then at 9:30 we’ll gather for a time of sharing together about our church. We’ll talk about how to become a part of our church – and how you can find your place here at Huron Shores.
SUNRISE MISSION NEEDS WARM OUTERWEAR
Because we had warmer than usual weather this Fall, the Sunrise Mission didn’t get the usual amount of hats, gloves, scarves and warm socks. They are in dire need of these items and would like them to be NEW. There is a tub in the narthex where they can be put. Thank You! – Care and Outreach Team
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY
We extend our Christian sympathy to Audrie Rensberry on the passing of her husband, Vernell (94), on January 2, 2018. They celebrated their 72rd wedding anniversary last October. Please pray for Audrie and other family members during this time of loss. – “Vernell will be missed”
Dear Church Family,
Thank you so much for your prayers, flowers, phone calls, text messages and visits during my time of surgery and healing.
You blessed me deeply. God’s Blessings on all of you.
– Pattie Howard.
JUST A REMINDER
Our Prayer Team is available to pray for your concerns. If you have a prayer request, please call Becky Sommerfield (517-481-6720) and she will pass it on to the prayer chain.
