WEDNESDAY, August 1
6:00 p.m. Family Night at home of Norm & Doris Miller. Please bring a dish to pass, you own table service and your lawn chair. As always there will be wonderful food and fellowship.
There will be a short choir practice following

Directions: Take M-32 West from Alpena and turn at Don’s Ford Tractor sales on Lake Winyah Rd. to the end of pavement and continue on unpaved road approx. ¼ of a mile to Lake Bluff Dr. (see mound of Big Rocks and a small sign with road name on it.) Prayer Buddies Are Needed for our VBS.
As the children are registered, we ask 1 adult (or teenager) to pray for them and their family. No gifts, no calls or notes—simply and effectively pray that Jesus would be real to them. This has been our ‘secret ingredient’ in the past—“the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.”

The Kings Brass Band will be at U. Methodist Church, Monday, August 6, – 7:00 p.m. These talented men travel the country with their music and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “You won’t be disappointed!”
