Planning for Snow (2018-19) In general, whenever it’s possible, we will plan to keep our regular schedule. If weather is extremely bad, however, we will cancel services and activities. We will try to make that decision as early as possible – and we will communicate any cancellations with local radio stations. For Wednesday activities, we will follow the decision of our local public schools. If it’s a snow day for our schools, then we will cancel our Wednesday activities. For other church activities on other days, we’ll leave it to the individual groups to make their own decision. Please check directly with your group leader for those decisions. Even though we will try to maintain our regular schedule, we want you to feel comfortable about your own personal decision about traveling in bad weather. If your area happens to be dangerous, or if you are snowed in, we encourage you to use your own judgment. Please do not travel if it seems unsafe to you. Please know that we will understand your decision and – even if you have responsibilities here – we will find a way to cover for you. If you are able to come, please come. But if you determine that it’s not wise to travel, then we encourage you to stay home.
